Float box slotted foam strips

Made in the UK from high  load bearing PU foam, these self adhesive slotted float strips are the perfect way to protect and store your floats, either in a tackle box of dedicated float box.  

The foam is available in two styles - My preferred choice is the extra wide foam as a single strip will hold most floats , but many people prefer the slimmer standard foam using a strip top and bottom to secure their floats.

The extra wide has 6 strips per pack. Each strip has 20 slots  and measures 300mm (12") long, 26mm wide and 16mm deep.

The standard foam has 10 strips per pack. Each strip has 22 slits and measures 300mm long, 13mm wide and 16mm deep.

One pack will help you secure quite a lot of floats and allow for several different layouts inside you box. Just cut to length, peel off the backing paper and press onto your desired position. It is best to leave in place for 12 hours before adding any floats for the backing to stick fully. The high tack backing adheres well to most clean dry surfaces (please remove any residual glues, sanding dust and if any solvent based products like varnish have been used, allow plenty of time for any VOC’s to evaporate first).

Please note - this product can not be repositioned after first application!  Mark the position desired well and place carefully.  If for any reason you have to remove the foam (which will destroy it), pull off as much as is possible with your fingers then paint white spirits over the glue residue and apply elbow grease!  (A wooden skewer works very well)
