Outstanding product, have struggled and made do with other types over the years but this is by far the best. If you make your own floats this is a must have, easy and quick to use. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Simply brilliant. Dries quickly so can be recoated regularly. Dries with no runs and once cured forms a very tough protective coat. Highly recommended.

I've made floats for a good 15 years now, and only make them for myself for my own needs. Up to now I've used the Ronseal outdoor varnish, which I found ok, but the colour over the years has become more and more yellow. I was introduced to this lacquer by my good friend James Webb who rated this by far, well above any other varnish and lacquer. So I had to give it a go, and I'm overwhelmed by it. I can apply 6 to 8 coats on my floats within a day, and leave to cure for 72 hours. I couldn't do that with any other product. The finish is unbelievable and hard too after the curing time. Absolutely no yellowing or colour runs after being applied to paint. Plus it's so much easier being able to was my brushes in water, rather than messing about with white spirits or thinners. This is going to be my new and only lacquer to cover my floats and keeping them waterproof from now on. I couldn't recommend it any better than I have, and should be the only lacquer any float maker should use.
Great product

I recently bought some DIY lacquer for my own float making having tried a few other products with mixed results. I have to say this is is the best by a country mile! It applies really well, dries super fast and gives a real quality finish. Thanks Ian for a fantastic product. I will definitely be back for more! Cheers James
