Bamboo Fishing Float Storage Tube with Fish Illustrations – Ian Lewis

Protect your handmade fishing floats in style with these beautifully crafted bamboo float tubes, each featuring a detailed fish illustration reproduced from original artwork by Ian Lewis.

What are customers saying about them?

"Excellent - I ordered the one with a tench on it and it’s extremely well made and beautifully crafted, the top fits perfectly sealing my floats safely inside, will definitely recommend any of Ian’s products including this one.”

Each tube is made from natural bamboo and finished with multiple coats of the same durable lacquer used on my float designs. This tough, moisture-resistant finish enhances the natural grain while permanently sealing and protecting the fish artwork beneath a smooth, glass-like surface.

The snug friction-fit lid forms an airtight seal, helping prevent moisture ingress and keeping floats secure during transport or storage. With an internal length of 225 mm (8.75″) and a 40 mm internal diameter, the tube accommodates most traditional handmade floats, including larger bodied patterns.

The fish illustrations are signed prints of Ian Lewis’s original pieces, carefully positioned along each tube to transform a practical storage item into a distinctive and collectable piece of angling craft.

Several species are available across the range, allowing anglers and collectors to build a matching set.

Species available are: Tench, Roach, Pike, Perch, Carp, Crucian carp, Chub, Barbel, Zander, Gudgeon, Rudd, Dace and Grayling

Ideal for:

• Protecting handmade floats

• Traditional tackle collections

• Bankside storage and transport

• Angling gifts

• Display with float collections

Because natural bamboo varies slightly in tone and grain, every tube is unique while maintaining consistent dimensions and finish quality.
