Great little float
Been in my tin ( I have a couple plus bamboo tubes) for a while. Thought it was time to give it an outing, several Roach plus a few Gudgeon. Sensitive little float, ideal for fishing next to the marginal pads.

''Lovely floats, I have a great selection. The lucky strike, I hadn’t got round to using it, so I thought it time it got an outing. Several Roach and Gudgeon fell to this sensitive tiny float, great fun.'' Simon Earp

Clever little float.
Great idea to use a match for a careful approach on small streams.
Owner
That's what Mr. Bailey said and there have been quite a few rather good catches using them over the years.
