What do customers say?

''My Favourite Floats - I've been fishing for 40 years, and Ian's Norfolk Reed Wagglers are my favourite stillwater floats of all time. Nicely made, stable, sensitive response and easy to see. Highly recommended. Chris Bailey.

Amazing workmanship

Shaun Garman · October 2017

Amazing workmanship, not only look great but fantastic to fish with.

Strange sliders

Julian Mills · September 2026

I asked ian to make me 3 12" Norfolk reed floats as I really enjoyed the buoyancy of the 10" and had the idea that they would make great sliders for a couple of resevoirs I currently fish. After altering the shape of the eye (crushed slighlty to make more of a diamond shape!) they work to perfection. Sat up my cadence 14ft no3 and those floats fly like darts with between 12gm and 12.5 gm of loaded weight. They are more than visible at 35 - 40 mteres as this is af far as I can catapult balls of beit!

Owner

Glad they are working well for you. They really are 'monster' reed floats and about as big as I think it is possible to make them using a single 'node' of reed. If you let me know you needed diamond eyes I would have done that for you too ;)

For a few quid extra, you can be back at that perfect moment watching little bubbles rising , before the tremor , before the dip, before the mortgage, before the bad back. What’s that worth?

Best review this year! Love it Paul ;)
