Its unusual body is created by splitting balsa and laminating a sheet of natural cork diagonally through it at approximately 45 degrees before shaping and finishing the float. Mounted on a bamboo cane stem with a hand-whipped stainless-steel bottom eye, it combines traditional natural materials with a unique contemporary appearance.
